Juán Andrés R. Morilla

This Andalusian 29 year old chef is one of the future promises of Spanish Gastronomy. He is currently the chef-owner of the restaurant "The Cloister" Hotel AC Palacio de Santa Paula 5 * GL (Granada), where for some years has been making signature dishes.

Prior to this he was chef de partie at Restaurante El Cenador de Salvador 1 * Michelin (Madrid), and then worked for a time as chef de partie at El Bulli Hotel Hacienda Benazuza, Restaurant La Alquería 2 * Michelin (Sevilla), and was executive chef at  1 * Michelin restaurant Drolma (Barcelona).

Juan Andres has received many awards among which are: Best Chef of Spain 2009, winner of the XII Championship of Spanish Chefs, currently the Spanish representative in the final of France Bocuse d'Or. He has been chosen by the magazine Capital in 2009 as one of "100 Young Leaders of the Future".

He placed third in the finals of Chef of the Year 2008.

In February 2010 he is added to the Chefservices Agency portfolio bringing with him his Andalusian style.
